Biography: Yaser Issa, Assistant Professor, PhD. is the Head of the Environmental Health Unit at Hebron Public Health Directorate, MOH since 2004. He is a part-time lecturer and researcher at different Palestinian Universities. Yasser Issa holds a doctoral degree in international health (public health, environmental health, and occupational Epidemiology) from the University of Oslo, Norway in 2013. Also holds a master's degree in international health community of the University of Oslo, Norway in 2000. He has published several scientific papers and abstracts of research in a number of international scientific journals such as: Human Reproduction, Environmental Health, and The Lancet. He participated in several scientific conferences and workshops in the field of public health at the local, regional and international level. He did reviewing for different international journals. Yaser Issaʼs main research interests is to find out the effect of exposure to different factors including environmental and chemicals on Public Health and Reproductive health; Risk Assessment; Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA); and Hazard Evaluation. He is a member in different societies and institutions related to the health and public health.
