He has completed B. Sc and M. Sc in Fisheries from Fisheries and Marine Resource Technology Discipline, Khulna University, Bangladesh. He has achieved also 2nd M.Sc. degree in Environmental Assessment and Management from the University of Bologna, Italy and the University of Cadiz, Spain under Water and Coastal management program. He is concentrating on researches on Eco-toxicology, Aquaculture, and Trace metal pollution in coastal area.
