Dr.
Ma Xuan is an Associate Professor in the School of Architecture at Chang’an
University, specializing in sustainable architecture, urban thermal
environments, and low-carbon building design. With over five years of academic
experience, Dr. Ma’s research centers on indoor and outdoor thermal comfort and
the optimization of urban spaces to promote low-carbon and energy-efficient
cities. Dr. Ma has led and participated in multiple high-impact research
projects, including grants from the Shaanxi Province Social Science Fund,
focusing on the application of intelligent digital solutions for optimizing
urban carbon emissions. His recent work on a Shaanxi Province Key R&D
Program project investigates the spatial and temporal heterogeneity of human
carbon emissions and their impact on the urban thermal environment in Xi’an,
leveraging big data to support low-carbon urban development.
