Dr. T.S. Vinoth Kumar has received his BDS and MDS
in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in 2007. He went on further obtaining
the Diploma (MFDS RCPS) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of
Glasgow, a Fellowship (FICD & FPFA), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
with enormous academic and clinical achievements in the field. Both
undergraduate and postgraduate students have benefitted from his teaching and
clinical experience of 17 years. A unique treatment protocol termed “Reverse
Sandwich Restoration” was introduced by him for the management of invasive
cervical resorption.
He has more than thirty publications, a book, and continuing as invited reviews for many reputed journals. He has supervised many Masters projects. His research interests focused on in vitro and in vivo studies based on composite restorations and Endodontic treatments.
He has participated in many administrative duties
in the vice deanship of development and the vice deanship of academic affairs
of the College of Dentistry.
