Tao
Liu received the B.S. degree (Mathematics and Applied Mathematics) and M.S.
degree (Applied Mathematics) from Harbin Engineering University, Harbin, China,
in 2007 and 2009, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree (Mathematics) from Harbin
Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, 2014. From 2022 to 2023‚ he was a
Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the School of Electrical and Electronic
Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is currently an
Associate Professor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Northeastern
University at Qinhuangdao, China. He served as the reviewer for Mathematical
Reviews of American Mathematical Society, Topical Advisory Panel Member and SI
guest editor of Mathematics, SI guest editor of Axioms, editor of Journal of
Advances in Applied & Computational Mathematics, editor of Journal of
Nuclear Science and Technology Updates, editor of Journal of Information and
Computing, guest editor of ICTA 2023, International Technical Committee Member
of over 20 EI conferences, and reviewer for over 20 journals indexed by SCI.
His research interests include: Deep Learning; Reinforcement Learning;
Multiscale Methods (Multigrid and Wavelet); Homotopy Method; Inverse and
Ill-posed Problems; Parameter Reconstruction. In related subjects, he has
published more than 40 SCI journal papers and more than 30 EI conference
papers. He has been awarded as the leader of the Outstanding Project of Nature
Science Foundation of Hebei Province of China in 2019.
