Filippos F. Karageorgos received his
MEng in Chemical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in
2017; he also received his PhD in Hydrogel Modeling of End-Use Properties from
the same university in 2023 and is now pursuing an MD at Aristotle University
of Thessaloniki School of Medicine. He worked as a Graduate Research Assistant
at CERTH (2017–2023) in the program N2B-patch. He has received a Limmat
Stiftung scholarship and he was awarded by Technical Chamber of Greece for his
academic scores during his undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering. Also,
he has received a scholarship from the Center for Research and Technology
Hellas (CERTH) and a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY)
for his PhD studies. He is a Member of IOM3, Associate Member of IChemE and
Member of Technical Chamber of Greece. His research topics mainly include
hydrogels, polymers, modeling, drug delivery, artificial organs, biomedical
engineering and transplantation issues
Research Interest: Biomedical engineering, Technological applications in medicine, HCC,
liver transplantation, kidney transplantation
