Research Interest: Angiotensin II effects on renal dopamine metabolism using in vitro models and different techniques like pharmacological approaches, kinetic studies, enzymatic activities and radiolabel markers. For my postdoctoral work, I expanded my research area and studied the relationship between atrial natriuretic peptide and renal dopamine system and its impact on sodium handling. For this purpose we employed an in vivo model to evaluate this interaction on urinary parameters and used molecular techniques to demonstrate the involvement of different tubular transports
