Dr. Chien-Chang Liao became associate professor of the Department of anesthesiology, School of Medicine in 2016 at the Taipei Medical University, Taipei, Taiwan. Before taking this position in Taipei he spent 4 years for getting PhD degree at the College of Public Health, National Taiwan University, Taiwan. Associate professor Chien-Chang Liao has been elected Fellow of Academia Committee of Taiwan Osteoporosis Association in 2016.

Dr. Chien-Chang Liao has published over 82 papers included fields of surgery, anesthesiology, traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, stroke, myocardial infarction, diabetes, liver cirrhosis, mental disorders, pulmonary disease, and complementary and alternative medicine. His publications earned much news reports of mass media. Because of his excellent research, he won so many international awards. He is also serves as one of reviewers of many important scientific journals including British Medical Journal, Annals of Internal Medicine, Diabetes Care, Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, Stroke, and Canadian Medical Association Journal, etc.
